Subterranean Art Brighton brings you this years Temporary Autonomous Art

Create the space day.
Bring your own pieces of art or be resourceful and make something on the day out of anything you can find.

Workshops and open Cinema.
Come and learn new skills ranging from knitting-screenprinting-squatting-cooking-music production plus loads more!! Workshops will be running 12pm untill early evening. spread out over thursday, friday and saturday.
Cinema will be showing art house films/political documentaries or anything you bring that would like to show to an alternative audience.

Workshops will be running throughout the day. In the evening come and enjoy our Cabaret show featuring stand-up, poetry, magic, burlesque and a load more out of the box performances.

Again, Workshops will be taking place. Traditionally in the evening there will be a Junk Fashion Show (why not create a recyled costume in the fashion recylcling workshop?!) Live bands and acoustic madness.

To feed your creative brains come and sit in the Optic Nerve/Mechanical Garden cafe and eat delicious veggie food (a BBQ for those with a broader diet), listen to some reggae or watch an accoustic set from one of the artists we have playing in the cafe.
In the evening a bar serving refreshments will be run.

Everyone is welcome; this is a family friendly zone with something for allsorts!
We want to showcase a range of talents and have some fun in the process. If you are an artist, a performer or would like to run a workshop please get in contact..

Its not too late untill the event is over so get in touch!!
