Born  in 1977 in Central East of Italy and 1999 moved to Florence where in 2002 she graduated on Photography at FSM (Fondazione Studio Marangoni) Florence after a three-years programme. Firstly, she worked as an art gallery director assistant, as an exhibition supervisor, and as a darkroom teacher/manager, fine art printer as well as a freelance photographer for advertising campaigns. Since 2002, she has been teaching film-based and digital photography, lecturing theory of communication on photography and projecting artwork, history of photography and contemporary art in several schools in Florence at BA and MA level. From 2006 to 2009, she  created and directed the Studio Luce Project in Florence which combined an analog – digital photo lab, shop with a gallery space for artists and a photo studio ‘atelier’ for still-life and fashion photography. Between 2003 and 2008 she participated in numerous workshops with contemporary artists and presented her photoworks in several exhibitions in Italy and Abroad. She also published her work in several Italian Issues such as Io Donna. In 2009, she showed her photo artwork “Handle With Care” in Warsaw and in Turin as part of an installation view. In the same year she moved to the UK where in November 2010 she mastered at the University of Brighton in Digital Media Arts. In December 2010 she moved to Berlin where she presented a printed photo artwork at Ratskeller Gallery within the european month of photography. In July 2011 she intervened with a new sonic piece at Errant Bodies Space in Berlin. In November 2011 she moved to London and started a practice-based PhD in Sonic Arts at Goldsmiths College where she combined photography and phonography. In May 2012 she presented her research progress at the Victoria & Albert Museum in London and at the Graduate School Symposium at the Unversity of London. In 2013 she has been selected with a sonic piece  for Museruole Festival Women In Experimental Music at Museion Bozen, Italy. In the same year she took part to a radio programme in Amsterdam exploring the human voice which has been aired at A new sound piece ‘378KM-capisci amore mio’ was presented in Lisbon (PT) as part of the 3th Edition of Lisbon Architecture Triennale. It has been broadcasted on in the early October 2013 within the project Ecos/Intermission curated by Jennie Savage and Nuno Torres. In 2014 she presented a new audio-photographic project ‘Noise Calm Zone’ in Turin at Fondazione Sandretto Re Rebaudengo. In the same year she was also part of the PNEM Sound Art Festival in Uden, Eindhoven (NL) with a sound piece listened in a audio drive-in. She is currently based in Florence where she works as a lecturer/tutor on Photography & New Media Italian/International students.
